For many years photography has been and still is my main hobby. It all started with a simple digital 2 Mpx (Megapixel) HP Photosmart camera. Back in those days this camera was a revolution and the possibilties seemed endless. To be able to instantly view your photo’s right after the moment you shot them was something completely new. After a few years of fooling around with the HP Photosmart and other digital camera’s, I’d decided to upgrade my compact camera to a digital DLSR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera with a 18-200mm zoomlens.

Thanks to this camera I was able to shoot photo’s in RAW format. Raw designates a file format used by digital cameras. While taking pictures the camera writes all the sensor’s informations one to one, no manipulations take effect. Again the possibilities seemed endless, but you are bound to reach the limits of your camera one day. Right now I am shooting my photo’s with a Nikon D80 together with a good set of different lenses:

Through this personal website I want to share with you my photo reports that I have been creating over the years. My main interests are Amusement Parks, Events, Sightseeing (traveling) and Animals. I have also recently build a small photostudio at home where I can practice the fine art of portrait photography.
